He comes from a well-respected, middle-class, Catholic family, the only child of two financial advisors who moved to Moorhaven when he was about 5 from Boston. Recently recruited due to a, should we say unique, demonstration of ability, Talberon is hoping to discover a little bit more about his past and the new world open before him. They enrolled him for a classical education at a private school; they are too conservative to ever believe in the existence of monsters or respect a hunter's profession. He enrolled to find a safe place to use his powers with little judgment, not particularly caring about monster hunting, just identifying as a human and not a monster, though he does want to use his magical powers 'for good' and 'to protect the world from evil & demonic' (as defined by his Catholic view).

As an incoming freshman, he is idealistic to the point of being naive and is authentic, genuine, straight-talking. He maintains a personality of irony: he is equally contemplative and brash, withdrawn and talkative. Tal's not particularly studious but naturally curious, explorative, and mischevious. He will frequently pull pranks or show-off, never in open public, but sometimes in that risky, grey area. He enjoys drinking tea, hiking, listening to classical music or punk rock, going to the movies, reading his own personal choice book, and shooting off fireworks. He hates cats, country music, and math.

Little sets him apart besides his bright, ginger hair, a reddish aura, flowing cloak and leather boots, and an interest in fire. But amongst a school of monster hunters, how much of that is abnormal?
