Philippa is a dutiful young Amazon with penetrating eyes the color of new moss. Her long, sable hair is usually kept sensibly braided and bound up when she is out riding or training. Like many dedicated huntresses, she has a well-honed, lean-muscled physique and carries herself with a certain amount of practiced grace and dignity. At the same time, there’s a cautious, restrained quality to her movements and expressions. Not one given to wild outbursts of emotion, she exhibits a natural reserve that can sometimes be mistaken for aloofness. In truth, she enjoys the company of her sisters-in-arms, even if she doesn’t always show it, and there is little she wouldn't do for a friend.

Steady of hand and temperament, Philippa is most at ease on the archery range, where she wields her bows with deadly accuracy and precision. In closer quarters, she favors traditional javelins and spears. She is deeply suspicious of unfamiliar technologies and dislikes firearms, believing - as many Lorcans do - that over-reliance on advanced technologies can have a kind of corrupting influence - not to mention the potential to upend the delicate balance with the natural world that had sustained the Amazons for so long.
