Jennifer is an only child. When she was in middle school, her family moved to their current town. Her parents had noticed they were drifting apart, so they accepted jobs that let them have more time at home. While they grew closer to Jennifer, their relationship with each other stayed stagnant. Eventually, they mutually decided to get a divorce. They both still live in the same town and consider the other a friend. Her mom has a typical office job while her dad is a teacher at a local university who also works as an archeologist during the summer months. She's gone with him for a few weeks before, even though she wasn't allowed to get too close to the dig site.

Jennifer dealt with the separation by throwing herself into trying out new things in an effort to keep herself from thinking about it. She dropped most of them pretty quickly after processing everything, except for soccer. She also had her first boyfriend while in middle school, but the two of them broke up after a few months of dating because of an explosive argument.

When she started high school she quickly became one of the top students. She wasn't a genius or anything, but she consistently got As and high Bs as her final grades. Jennifer had a fairly average social life. She's close to her teammates and is at least cordial with the other students in her classes. She also got a part-time job as a teacher's assistant at a children's martial arts center after promising her parents she would quit either the job or the soccer team if it began to impact her grades.

After a few years, they hired a second assistant, Alexis. The two of them get along well, and they occasionally hang out outside of work. Jennifer slowly developed a crush on her, but she still hasn't confessed despite knowing her for months.


Jennifer usually wears a pair of jeans and sneakers with either a short-sleeved shirt or a sweater depending on the weather. Her phylactery is a pair of silvery white stud earrings.

When she transforms she has rapunzel hair pulled into a high ponytail. Jennifer wears a studded leather vest over a long sleeved red leotard. The leotard has a matching skirt attached to it with an open front that stops a few inches below her knees. She has white tights and leather boots. Jennifer also has a scabbard for the rapier she uses.
