Being well-armed and towering over seven feet in height with a leanly-muscular physique, Opalia is a physically-formidable young goliath woman.  However, any threat one might feel at her presence is offset by a sprightly demeanor and disarmingly sunny smile.  She bears the stony gray skin and pale, angular markings that identify her as a goliath of the Skykeeper clan, a people rarely seen below the wintry highlands of the Scarcrag mountains in the Frozen Wastes.  Her features are striking, with prominent cheekbones and bright hazel eyes accentuated by natural markings resembling twin sunbursts.  Her hair is a long auburn mane barely kept in check by braids that dangle with colorful beads and feathers, and flowers when she can find them.

Opalia most often wears a molded cuirass of boiled leather overlaid with the hardy green scales of some great beast, with bracers and greaves to match.  Over this she proudly wears a fabulous mustard-yellow kilt and sash, while her mighty limbs are left bare for mobility.  Secured to her back with a sturdy baldric is a great granite-headed mace with a stout ironwood haft, as well as a huge boar-spear.

Opalia is friendly to a fault with a booming, cheery voice and a raucous laugh that is easily summoned at a moment’s notice.  She is a skilled climber and has an inordinate compulsion to scale any tall thing that can bear her weight, from trees and cliffs to curtain walls and watchtowers.
