Lord Mayor Ioseph Sellemius rules in the Free City of Restov as its current Lord Mayor and chief representative of the ruling Swordlord council. Although Restov is called a Free City, its Lord Mayor must still obey dictates from Brevoy's throne.

He is renowned as a mediator, offering a cool headed opinion in contrast to the hawkish Aldori Swordlords and is seen as one of the main reasons why a civil war hasn't broken out already.

Despite his love and dedication to the people of Restov it is known he enjoys the luxuries of life and his manor and dress represent wealth far beyond his simple public servant station would allow for.
