Larwick is a bit rough around the edges, but is eager to succeed and knows the value of making close allies.

He's definitely not a good person by any stretch of the imagination, having no qualms with doing bad things for a reason. He rarely actively seeks to hurt people, but if those kind of jobs are paying more, he's interested.



HISTORY

Larwick is a pseudonym developed later in life, not this tiefling's real name.

Larwick comes from Zantum, the capital of Alemakia. Growing up in an orphanage, he was the target of many stares and hushed whispers due to having demon blood.

That much was to be expected, he figured. Social isolation would have been a major concern for him had he not decided to grip his own destiny at a young age. Pushing back against foes, and building his own cliques, child Larwick made it through his early years well enough.

Upon reaching maturity and being kicked from the orphanage, Larwick, a child with no future and no past did not wander the streets of Zantum long before finding dark opportunity.

Having suspicions about the existence of an underworld due to the shady figures that he sometimes caught glimpses of, it didn't take him long to find his way into a shady enterprise.

Making himself useful, Larwick took up contract after contract, making fairly good money for himself. He also developed his skills as a mercenary and assassin.

One fateful night, after a successful mission, he was betrayed by his other team members; being beaten and left for dead as the victims of the recent crime were giving chase. In his rage and sorrow over the situation, a great and wicked power reached out to him.

Larwick awoke before their pursuers could catch him. In his weakened state, he fled instead of ambushing. Yet, his luck was poor and he was caught. Forced to fight, Larwick realized and unleashed his new powers.

Defeating his foes, Larwick returned to claim his reward and report the traitors. However, upon returning to the base, he had been blacklisted. Unable to convince anyone of the truth, and too hurt and tired to fight his own, the tiefling's career ended.

Soon, Larwick began to run out of money. Knowing where this path was leading, he abandoned the big city with what little he had left.

Now, he arrives in Smith Gambit looking for a chance to rebuild his life.
