KalReen is of middling height for a halfling which still leaves him around waist height when compared with most humans. He has a mess of curly black hair with soft childlike features often common for halfling and piercing gray eyes the exude wisdom and intelligence. Even for a halfling Kal has a slight physic. One would never know he was the owner of the Golden city by looking at his wardrobe which is quite common especially among adventurers. He rarely keeps much on his person, a simple Bollock dagger a couple pouches and perhaps a wand or two.

There is almost always a black and tan tabby with white 'socks' close by Kal. The cat affectionately called Boots often lays across his shoulders or laying in his lap, else off hunting a mouse for dinner. Either way the members of House Ghallanda treat the cat as if she were Kal himself.
