Even four years after the Los Angeles disaster a lot of questions remain unanswered. Prior to the calamity that forced the citys survivors to evacuate, the city was rioting under the pressure of increased gang activity. People were burned alive in the streets and the gangs were blamed for the conflagration. The hills around the city had been burning for months with fire fighters unable to get things under control. Calls for the mayor to step down turned into demonstrations which turned into violence and the national guard was sent in on orders of the president. And thats when things went from bad to worse. The Big One hit the city cutting off power, supplies, roads and the city went dark.And in the dark a light appeared.
Some claim they saw Jesus float above the masses on Hollywood Boulevard, others say an angel of God ascended to heaven in a bright light and a handful claim it was satan, saving thousands from Gods unjust wrath as the riots came to a sudden halt. The government of course dismisses such rumors. But the event has sparked a new belief in the supernatural, spreading fast among pentecostal christians and new age conspiracy theorists. Clips of the event made their way onto YouTube and news sites.
Los Angeles had one last disaster visited upon it. A nuclear device of unknown origin detonated under Los Angeles Central Station, leveling half the city and raining nuclear fallout across the west coast. The city was abandoned and survivors evacuated. The attack was never claimed and some conspiracy theorists believe there was a secret government facility hidden under LA Central Station with a nuclear power plant that exploded following the big earthquake. Among Tradition mages rumors abound that the Los Angeles nuclear disaster was a cover-up by the Technocracy to hide the Hollywood Boulevard event and they have stepped up their war in retaliation. If they are correct the Boulevard event was such a dire threat to the technocracys paradigm that the cover up was worth destroying a city of four million people. Los Angeles is a ghost town now, a stark reminder for those who believe in such things that the doomsday clock is close to midnight.
Great numbers of survivors of the nuclear disaster have moved across country to overcrowd New York, its population doubled in numbers in four years time, severely straining the citys services. Vast ghettos sprung up in and around the city and president Drumpf has issued a state of emergency that has been in place for the past few years.
America is a police state now and democracy is effectively dead.
