A human youth in his late teens Aetius has a relaxed manner about him though not the sort of swaggering bravado that some of his age tend towards. Not overly muscular in his build, instead tending more towards the wiry, his hair is a lighter shade of brown and his skin tanned in the manner of one who spends a lot of time outdoors. The attire worn by him is fairly plain but sturdy, practical and well worn in mostly muted colours that would not easily stain no matter what they have to put up with. He is lightly armoured in a well-made though unadorned chain shirt with a longsword and spiked chain at his belt and a wooden shield at his back atop a hefty pack.
