Connor Livics

Name: Connor Livics
Race: Human
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Position: Executive Officer

Service Record:
2372 Graduated Starfleet academy. Received first deep space assignment aboard USS Majestic as ensign on the command track.

2374 Promoted to Lieutenant prior to Operation Return led by Captain Sisko due to outstanding performance during skirmishes with Jem'Hadar raiders and lack of senior crew. Escaped the destruction of the Majestic with several other crew aboard escape pods.

Shortly after being rescued Livics was returned to active duty due to continued personnel shortages, now aboard the USS Farragut as a tactical officer. Continued skirmishes during the war showed Livics had a strong aptitude for tactics, the chief tactical officer at the time commented, "Lieutenant Livics has demonstrated a strong ability to maintain a level head and analyse a situation quickly and precisely even during stressful confrontations."

2375 Following the end of the Dominion War Livics was awarded the Starfleet Award of Valor for his performance during the war.

2377 Promoted to lieutenant commander.

2379 Reassigned to USS Challenger as second officer, his main focuses being assisting the first officer with crew management and providing tactical analyses when the ship was in potentially hostile situations.

2382 Promoted to Commander. Livics used several months shore leave upon obtaining his promotion to return to Earth.

2383 Now assigned as First Officer of the USS Wanderer (hopefully). Waiting to ship out.

Pre-Starfleet: Born on Earth to Sean and Harriet Livics, an agricultural expert and starfleet scientist respectively. Connor lived in paradise with his family, enjoying all the benefits and luxuries Earth provided. He was equal parts hard worker and layabout, applying himself studiously when something grabbed his attention and skating by otherwise. As an only child he would often find himself exploring his surroundings and more than once getting into trouble for being somewhere he shouldn't be such as trespassing on private property or being in a bar without being old enough to be allowed the drink he was ordering.

He never felt pushed to join Starfleet. As his father said, "Your mother was lucky, she never wanted to join Starfleet, her parents forced her into it. She was just lucky she discovered a love for science while there. You and I both know you love the things you love and nothing distracts you from them. So you find what you love and you go for it."

Connor loved strategy games. From the simple like chess, to holo-programs where he was commanding armies or fleets. It just so happened that Starfleet was the clear choice for him then. He didn't join the academy straight out of skill though, he was aprehensive since he knew that joining Starfleet would involve also doing things he didn't enjoy, a lot of it. It took him over a year once he'd finished school of dragging his feet on what he was going to do with his life before he finally decided to just go for it, better to try than not.
