Sam Clifford

Cpl. Sam Clifford
Height: 186cm (6,1ft)
Hair: dark brown
Eyes: hazel
Age: 24

Appearance:
A tall and broad-shouldered bloke in a forest-green military shirt and pants. The shirt is tucked in and the pants legs into the boots. He wears a standard-issue US ww2 belt and an m7 shoulder holster that connects to the left shoulder strap of his shirt with the holster strap coming down, across his chest like a sash and coming up his back before connecting back at the shoulder strap. The second holster strap connects at the front, along the first strap, and wraps around under his left arm to connect to the first strap on his back. (Complex perhaps, but I hope you get the picture). His canteen clips on his belt at the back and his knife is sheathed in a slot on his gaiters. He wears a ‘shoulder sleeve insignia’ which goes over his left arm and is fastened to the left shoulder strap on his shirt; it contains an Australian flag and a red cross. On his head he has a sky-blue United Nations beret which he stores under the right shoulder strap of his shirt. Finally (sorry) he wears a small satchel which contains primitive medical supplies and stripper clips for his rifle.

BACKGROUND:
Sam had served in the ADF (Australian Defence Force) as a combat medic since he was 20. He didn’t particularly want to enlist, however the Australian Army pays for young soldiers’ tertiary education while they serve the minimum service period. While he didn’t have a clue what he wanted to study, let alone what he wanted to do for a living, Sam had developed a fair level of combat training and emergency medical skill during his time as a combat medic. Being a support unit, his devision often took part in joint training operations with the engineering devision, resulting in him developing a diverse skill set consisting of medical and mechanical knowledge. He had always been a tinkerer at a young age, but the army had allowed him to develop his knack for things into a strength. Among his mates, Sam had always been a bit of a larrikin who loved to piss around when he got the chance, although his time in the army meant he knew when to pull his head in.
