Hester is short.  Very short, around four feet seven inches tall.  Her eyes are black, her skin pale (almost ivory) and her hair is silver.  She wears leathers and is obviously armed with a rapier.  Any other weaponry is, shall we say somewhat less visible?

She is very quiet except with people she knows well.  This is not because she is shy but because she is worried about something.

Hester was born in Falcon's Hollow.  Nobody sent her here

but she is making her way back from overseas because she is desperate to see her grandmother Carien who also has dark eyes and silver hair and may be able to tell her what is happening to her.

She's not going to tell anyone this because it worries her.  Indeed it scares her.

She left home five years ago and began earning a living as a conwoman as a
member in good standing of the Thieves guild of her adopted city but over time, the magic forced itself to the fore, forcing her to leave the city because she no longer fit with the guild.

She traveled widely, eventually falling in with a group of adventurers who planned to plunder a Drow city.  She alone survived but, when she reached the surface after a series of adventures, she had changed.
