Felix is a mortal who happens to turn into a cat at will (a Scottish wildcat, not that the average mortal knows the difference with a domestic cat). He favors suits and ties, and wears glasses. He's a Chicago native, although he traces his ancestry back to Scotland. He teaches a few language classes at the University of Chicago: Irish, Welsh, Scottish Gaelic, and comparative linguistics of the Celtic languages.
