Fost

FOST LONGSTRIDER
6'2'', heavy (220lbs), bald, shaved, light brown skin, grey eyes, scar left cheek

Fost is a huge man, powerfully built with broad shoulders and a large chest. Presuming he is too slow or clumsy to move all this massive weight about has been the downfall of quite a few opponents for Fost is surprisingly nimble.
Fost has a powerful presence and if he makes an effort can actually be charming. However, he rarely does so, seemingly preferring to keep to himself and not sharing his opinions. Fost has no education to speak of and he is not a learned or knowledgeable man. The warrior never felt a need to read books or listen to scholars. If a templar or mage would have arrived at his home hamlet earlier Fost may have been tested for his arcane power, but this never occurred and while he has a latent capability for magic he never even thought about studying in a Mage Circle. Fost is a head-strong man, many actually would call him stubborn and resistant to advise. He is confident in his physical prowess and is well aware of his shortcomings. Luckily he is not above asking for help and support.

Fost's equipment is well-worn and shows unmistakable signs of use and exposure to the weather. It is immediately obvious that Fost has traveled far and wide and indeed if asked for his home village he keeps silent. Upon closer look one will learn that the gear is not neglected, though, for his weapons and armour and well oiled and cleaned at the essential parts. Much of his time is spent sharpening the edges of his various weapons.
An emblem made of steel, about the size of a child's palm, showing the Arl Eamon of Redcliffe's device is attached to the belt strapped diagonally across his broad chest. If questioned Fost proudly says that he is the Arl's Man.

Heavy Mail Armour
a medium shield strapped to his back, a bastard sword's handle showing above his right shoulder as the blade is strapped dioagonally across his back, a long sword on the right side of the broad weapon girdle, together with two throwing spears.
