Atravyr is a tall, wispy elf with long blond hair and kind green eyes. He dresses in robes which---if they are not already---eventually get stained with ink, and almost always has a scroll and quill at hand to jot notes on whatever observation catches his interest. A graduate of one of the Elven magister academies, he has ventured out into the Human-dominated regions of Albion to learn new things and recover old secrets.

A large owl named Huddwynck accompanies Atravyr. It often sits on the elf's shoulder, and silently watches whatever the wizard is focused on. Huddwynck also has a bad habit of absentmindedly chewing on Atravyr's hair, worrying strands until they are finally cut in half.
