Lila Hilltopple comes from a long line of barbarians, bounty hunters, mercenaries, foresters, and trappers.  This was never really the life Lila wants.  She does her best to follow in her family's footsteps, but her heart is not really in the violence.  All she really wants to do is cook.  She is preoccupied with spices from other towns, and herbs and mushrooms she finds in the forest, anything that will enhance the taste of bland food.  She is a bit of a snob when comes to food.  She also has love of the drink, she'll never pass up the chance to try something new.  Lila prefers being in the background and helping when she can, she hates being the center of attention and will do whatever she can to get out of such a situation.  She has fair skin, jet black long hair pulled into a braid most of the time, and bright green eyes.  She wears simple, non-distinct clothing and boots, except for a dark red amulet that she keeps tucked under her blouse.
Given her penchant for cooking, she will probably be friends with the Quince family, and maybe sometimes works in the bakery when they need extra help.
She doesn't see her family very often, as she feels she doesn't live up to their expectations of her.  She feels as though she lets them down, but just can't agree with violence always being the answer.
