Eleanor Young is the 'Ventrue Primogen'. She has a seat at the table, she does the work, but every Ventrue with a brain and most of the rest of the Court can see she simply does exactly what her sire, Seneschal Robert Payne, tells her to do. In her entire unlife, she's never not been blood bound to him. He's the real Primogen, perhaps even the Prince in the shadows, and she's merely his puppet, perhaps at best the Ventrue's Clan Whip.

But Eleanor is not some beautiful, vapid Toreador model; behind her delicate features lies a razor sharp wit, a keen mind, and numerous strings and assets that all flow through her. It's her Masks and ghouls that run Dexhart Inc., control the Young Foundation, keep Portland's financial giants in line. It's her talents that keep her fellow power-hungry Ventrue in line and maintain the power base of their clan. Robert Payne is the puppet master for now, but the possibilities of her position and talent are quite enviable.
Many Ventrue wonder if one night, the Doll will cut her strings.
