Blood and Fear
The Sabbat had always held control of Maine. It had been their stronghold, where they could send forth their packs and foot soldiers to attack Boston or Hartford. Portland had always been untouchable, unclaimable by the Camarilla for as long as they would fight the Jyhad.

Then, the Beckoning came, and the Sabbat just left.

It's been a good decade since a group of defecting Lasombra came to Boston's Prince and offered the empty city to the Camarilla. A group was quickly mobilized to claim Praxis, under the a Malkavian former Archon Constance Prescott. Finally, the frustrating fortress would fall under Camarilla control, and there would be plenty of fertile soil for willing Kindred to find their niche. Who knew what juicy secrets the Sabbat left in the rotting corpse of their sanctuary. At least, that was the pitch.

Tonight, the city of Portland is a hotbed of jealous tensions, rising tempers, and brooding suspicions. This is a city of Blood and Fear, and some secrets are best left forgotten...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This will by my first foray into running a Vampire the Masquerade 5th Ed chronicle set in Portland. I'm using some of the metaplot as inspiration, but everything will be up to creative interpretation.
I am looking for a small coterie with 3-5 players, either newly Embraced and native to Portland or took the Camarilla's offer to move to Portland to support the new Prince.
This will not be a sandbox game, so I'm looking for people that are willing to adapt and roleplay well together as opposed to doing their own things. I also plan for this to be a cooperative effort where everyone will have more creative direction over the setting, the story, and each other's narratives. This means I also need players that can handle things respectfully, talk and resolve roleplaying differences peacefully, and be invested and inspired by their fellow players' stories.
I welcome new and veteran players alike, as I myself am still amateurish to V5 in general. I look forward to roleplaying with you!
