Portland by Night

For as long as the Jyhad had been waged across America, Portland, Maine was the Sabbat's stronghold. While the war was fought nightly on the frontlines of New York City and Boston, Portland was deeply entrenched in their territory. It was their economic and strategic harbor, where marauding packs came from and retreated to. For a century, it was thought to be untouchable, forever out of reach of Camarilla influence.

But at the turn of the century, Portland's Sabbat simply ... collapsed.

At the turn of the century, a group of defecting Lasombra offered an empty city to the Boston Camarilla, cleansed of its centuries of Sabbat control. A Court was quickly mustered to claim Praxis under former Malkavian Archon Constance Prescott. Finally, the frustrating fortress would fall under Camarilla control, and there would be plenty of fertile soil for willing Kindred to find their niche. Who knew what juicy secrets the Sabbat left in the rotting corpse of their sanctuary? At least, that was the pitch.

Tonight, the city of Portland is a hotbed of jealous tensions, rising tempers, and brooding suspicions. The streets these nights are filled with blood and fear, and some secrets are better left forgotten.

Because Nothing is ever truly Dead and Buried; the Past always comes back to Haunt Us.

This will by my first foray into running a Vampire the Masquerade 5th Ed chronicle set in Portland. I'm using some of the metaplot as inspiration, but I won't be adhering too closely to all the details, partly to keep things fresh and interesting and partly because I don't know everything.
I am looking for a small Camarilla coterie of about 3-4 players. You will start as new fledglings recently debuted in Court.
This will not be a sandbox game, so I'm looking for people that are willing to adapt and roleplay well together, as well as actively interested in helping craft the setting, the plot, and each others' narratives.
I welcome veteran and newbie players alike, as I myself still feel quite new to the rule system. I look forward to roleplaying with you!
