Physical Description: Colette came to Haven a homeless vagabond, dressed in dirty grunge. What skin was exposed was dirty and tan, and her blonde hair was a filthy rat's nest. Loose-fit jeans, chucks over two pair of unmatched socks, two pair of underwear and a sports bra, a graphic T, a faded jacket and backpack, a pair of mismatched plaid button-downs tied around the waist, two fingerless leather gloves, and a backwards ball cap with no recognizable team emblem were her entire wardrobe.

These days she's cleaned up a bit, taking the time to make a decent relationship with soap to keep her skin clean and pores free. Her hair is chopped off short to keep it out of the way, but still a bit of a mess; outside of the practical purposes of cleanliness she isn't too hung up on appearances. Her clothes still trend toward punk grunge, both for utility and comfort, giving her a boyish appearance that she's okay leaning into. Looking like a girl on the streets tended to be a disadvantage, so she's grown accustomed to projecting a degree of masculinity.

Despite having been away from the mat, beams, and bars for a few years, her frame is well-muscled and toned, with no residual fat. The muscles in her limbs and torso are well-defined, and move with the smoothness of a practiced athlete.

Mutant Powers: Colette can expand and contract the pores in her skin up to an inch, opening them up to a reservoir space which acts like a bladder, or lung. Non-solids can be inhaled through these pores, compressed, and ejected in a process similar to breathing. When expanded this way, they all connect to the same space, and like a lung or some other similar organ this space has a maximum capacity for both volume and pressurization. The contents can be held for quite a while, but the effort requires focus and causes fatigue if maintained over a long period of time.

Weaknesses: Particulates can cause her pores to become clogged or inflamed, sealing them up, as can larger solids. Poisonous or caustic materials, or ones that have been subjected to extremes of temperature can also cause her damage when being taken in or expelled. She's also somewhat claustrophobic and hydrophobic, and is uncomfortable being touched. Her short-fused temper has a tendency to land her in trouble as well.

Previous History: Colette was the daughter of a pair of B-list actors, though her birth and early years were kept out of the news and away from the paparazzi. She was raised mostly by her aunt and uncle, who encouraged her as she showed interest in and pursued gymnastics from an early age. Despite a somewhat charmed beginning, on her twelfth birthday her life took a drastic turn when she was pushed into a pool. Not knowing how to swim, and unable to find her way to the surface, she panicked; and activated her mutation. Dozens of holes opened in her skin, siphoning a sizeable portion of poolwater into a mysterious space. The revelation that she was a mutant was a shock to the family, and with their careers and status to consider, they locked her away from the world. Shut in the basement, her life turned upside down, she quickly grew to resent her family and the world at large. Eventually, she experimented with her ability, and used it to break free, then run away from home. She spent the next three years on the streets, homeless and alone, fending for herself before hearing about, then finding her way to, Haven.
