Age:16 Graduated from Highschool with a 3.75 GPA. Also, he received His student pilot license (single Propeller license)

Age: 17 By this time, he had already received his Dual Propeller, Rotary craft, and Jet Recreational Certificates for his Recreational Pilots license.

Age:20 Graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in English. As part of Marine ROTC GI Bill Then Went through military Aviator training. ended up in the top 20% of His Class.

Age 22 began assigned to VMFA-314 "Black Knights" (USMC). He reported for duty 3 days before the launch of the SDF-1.
