Clover is fourteen years old, making her a terror of foster system group homes and juvenile hall instead of the adult prison system of New York City. She has long blonde hair, green eyes, and delicate features that make an unusual setting for the violent glee or bored thousand-yard stare that sometimes rests there. She's 4'8" and presumably in the middle of a growth spurt, with the lithe and deceptively frail-looking build of a dancer or acrobat. Her manner is usually aloof and guarded unless she needs something or, more rarely, is actually interested in a person or topic. She's not exactly a user by nature, she usually just finds dealing with people more trouble than it's worth. She especially hates it when those people flex their age or other source of authority on her.

She used to pay little attention to her appearance and often wound up looking like quite the hobo, especially after running away from yet another foster home, but after finally getting in more serious legal trouble the adaptable teen has recognized the value of her looks in courtrooms and other tribunals. Now she dresses up to emphasize both cuteness and youth by way of girlish accessories and clothing. How she'll dress when she actually gets to be a government-sanctioned vigilante will probably be a different matter. Naturally, when she's trying to play up the "little girl in over her head" angle she doesn't show off her gun collection, or at least what's left of it after multiple arrests and confiscations.

The costume of her heroic alter ego "Margay" isn't terribly complex, not that Clover intended it to be. It consists of a cat-eared hoodie, skirt, and tights, all in the pale colors with dark-spotted pattern of the feline she's named after along the sides and back. The hoodie is a little bulky to accommodate the flak jacket underneath. Considering her age, it would probably look like a Halloween costume if it wasn't for all the guns she carries. She's also incorporated protective eye- and earwear into it, since she expects to be firing all those guns a good deal.
