When Penny was a baby the goddess Desna gifted her with sight, she plucked a star out of the sky and placed it in her eyes. Penny went partially blind. This the local fey found hilarious and teased her constantly as she grew up, this left her with few friends except her siblings. Penny had five sisters and six brothers, gifted to her by her lord and lady parents of which she was the youngest. She spent the majority of her formative years with her siblings until one by one they where married off and she was left alone.
One day she snuck out of her families manor though and went to a local tavern. There she played her music. People laughed, people danced ,and sang. She did that. She wasn't alone anymore. She decided she wanted to feel that way all the time and so she took off down the road, performing from inn to inn. Helping people where she could.
