Whether in a book, examining a room's wainscotting, or checking random coins for obscure rulers, the dark eyes of Daphne Peatmonger (she prefers just "Daphne") are always in motion, taking in her environment in every detail.  Inquisitive and patient, she is eager to learn about everyone and everything she comes into contact with.
Her clothing is plain but well made, a homespun dress that had the bottom hem tucked into her sturdy boots that looked like they were well broken in.  Beneath her thick cloak were bags and packs, filled with books, found samples of rocks and plants, and a small knife.  She walked holding a quarterstaff, though that might be as much for support to carry her literary burden than due to health reasons.  She had dark brown hair, that was mostly styled, and fairly clean, and a friendly face that invited conversation, if little else.
Any time not used in exploring the world around her was spent studying her spell book, as she learned more spells as a wizard, a profession that she feels pairs very well with that of World Explorer.
