Ricka Vincenzi
Character Name: Ricka Vincenzi
Age: 26
Physical Description: Rickas appearance basically begs that she be underestimated, which she occasionally resents but is absolutely not above using to her advantage whenever it's convenient. Shes very petite (51, 102 lbs.), a sunny cornsilk blonde with pouty full lips and a cheeky round babyface that would seem more suggestive of a pampered noble daughter than one of the best burglars in the city. The only trace of a hint of anything nefarious in her typical appearance is an alert, sharply calculating intelligence in her startlingly vivid green eyes. When not at work, she dresses in cheerily colored silk and cashmere and tastefully elegant gold and lots of sparkly gemstones that plainly evidence her prosperity; on the job shes of course attired in close-fitting flexible clothes in the inevitable, traditional all black.
Personality: Quiet, contemplative, vigilant, cautious, a thinker and planner and observer. Ricka seldom allows herself to be put in any position where shes forced into rash action or judgment, she chooses her words, her jobs, and her allies very carefully, and though shes not completely inexperienced with the traditional cutlass-and-dagger fighting style, she doesnt often enjoy engaging in physical violence herself. She has minions for that sort of thing.
History: Very young for a member of the Shadow Council, Ricka inherited leadership of the Glass House from her father, murdered two years ago in a coup attempt within the organization; a coup to which Ricka put a decisive end by calling the entire crew together to watch her take her good sweet time in slowly cutting the betrayer to pieces, starting by feeding him his own fingers and progressing to even less gentle ministrations from there. Thus did she earn her nickname within the crew, Red Ricka, and the other members seemed eager to accept her leadership after this display of her resolve.
The Glass House is a small but very successful coterie of thieves, specializing in subtle burglary and second-story work. They have a well-regarded reputation for being able to spring any lock, crack any safe, bypass any security, gain illicit entry to any locale no matter how secure, and make off with the choicest pilfered goods. They most often work for their own profit, though theyre not above being hired by other gangs if the job and the pay are up to their very exacting standards. Ricka herself was trained by her father with a set of picks from the age of seven, and is arguably the best lockpick in the city.
