Anzor Beridze was a backup ballet dancer with the Sukhishvili Georgian State Dance Company until he was conscripted for the defense of Mother Russia and her attendant Soviet Socialist Republics.  He has toured throughout the Soviet Union, China and as far away as England, Australia and even Cuba, smuggling home more than his fair share of blue jeans, rum, and rock 'n' roll music each tour, right under the nose of the Party 'monitors'.  The life of a carefree, international, extremely-fit, heterosexual male ballet dancer defies the brevity of this paragraph to adequately describe, but in a word it was GOOD.  VERY GOOD.

All that ended and was replaced by the two steering tillers of a T-80U main battle tank.  Anzor was not happy.  His only saving grace was being plucked out 3rd Platoon to serve as CO's personal driver.  While Berideze is nowhere near as happy as he was with Sukhishvili, he is now better off than 99% of Soviet рядово́й conscripts.
