The illegitimate son of an unknown Renraku corper, Kamui's exceptional skill with the blade leads many to speculate that his father was part of the elite Red Samurai, though the only person who knows the truth took the secret to her grave; his mother passed almost a decade ago without ever mentioning his lineage.
