     Her father was Symon Dukane, a robot technician for Stellar Robotics Corporation, so she grew up around robots all her life. Dad taught her all she knows about robotics, which was enough to get her a recommendation for a robotics job in Port Loren.

It was her Uncle Bruno, however, that taught her how to use beam weapons.
