Ridley Chase is tall and slender of build, with the grace and air of serenity not typically seen from one born and raised in the Lowlands of Ariane. Her dress is simple, but elegant, her cape, flowing garments and high boots are all made of spinifax, a silken cloth derived from the flax-bearing pods of the thistledown plant.

She has long red hair, usually pushed back from her temples and looking untidily windswept despite her best efforts. Her green eyes are flecked with sparkling motes of silver, the same color of her spellbook that rests in the pack strapped on her back. At her side, two daggers, one mundane, one silver--the metal of magic.
