LeDuc has white hair, hazel eyes, and a clean-shaven face. He has a slight and unique French accent. His nose is strong and broad, his mouth is generous. He dresses in stylish clothes that speak of wealth without ostentation, and cultivates the image of himself as a scholar.
Sometime before the end of the first millenium, LeDuc was a mage introduced into House Tremere after being saved him from the stake as a young man in Poitou, France. He soon proved to be talented, earning him a place as one of the most powerful mages. As one of the lords of Ceoris, he conquered his masters favor and after they discovered that magic was dying, LeDuc searched for ways to maintain their immortality. He partecipated in the process that created the potion that turned the Tremere into vampires, by experimenting on the native Tzimisce. LeDuc's discovery of vampiric reality on himself was traumatic. He was appalled and terrified by the changes on his mind and body. He felt he had made a monster of himself. Since then, he has lived as a tormented soul. He reached the desired immortality at the price of having become what he considere a demonic creature. He experienced this as a power greater than himself, something he was incapable of control.
The traumatic experience of transformation led LeDuc to abandon Ceoris and the clan. As he left Ceoris, he was captured by the Tzimisce Myca Vykos. For reasons that were never clear, LeDuc managed to escape unharmed from the land of the Tzimisce and eventually estabilished himself in Paris.In France Leduc met the Toreador Father Samuel, who offered him a new path to bear vampiric existence, the possibility of humanizing his soul and escape damnation.
