Mikhail

Honorable for a creature of dread and darkness, Mikhail is quick to defend those he feels are useful to him -- that is, those some might call "friends." He certainly doesn't see humans as his equals, but is quite fond of their determination, and particularly mighty ones even earn his respect.

As many shy away from creatures of his ilk, he secretly treasures those that accept him rather than judging him by his circumstances. He often jokingly refers to himself as "vitality-challenged" or "death-indeterminate." Though the dark powers he relies upon make truly moral action virtually impossible, Mikhail has a certain compassion that others of his sort lack completely -- something other undead chide him for on occasion, calling him "soft." He passes it off as logic, claiming one can get nowhere alone, but more simply it is that deep down he rejects the notion that darkness and evil are one and the same.

He dresses like a noble, usually with a cloak and mask, and carrying a massive bastard sword made of an incredibly hard, pitch-black metal. His wineskin is usually filled with animal blood, as he refuses to consume the life essence of sapient creatures unless they are his enemies or willing donors (he claims it is in poor taste).

Unlike most vampires, he is able to withstand the sun (though it is unpleasant and he burns easily). He is able to enter buildings un-invited as well. Holy symbols only drive him away if the deity is lawful as well as good. He is also blessed with a strange resistance to spells that occasionally rises to protect him. His regeneration and life drain powers are slightly weaker, however. (These differences can probably be attributed to his good alignment). Oddly, lavender and carrots bug him just as much as garlic. (OOC: I hate carrots, and lavender makes me sneeze, so I decided to incorporate that into my character if you must know why these in particular were my choices XD)
