Jax

Jaster Dax is a good-looking young human who  is either on the high-end of short, or the low-end of average, height and a slim, but healthy, build.
His wavy hair is of a copper tone, and of shoulder-length, his intense eyes an almost emerald green, his complexion always tanned or a bit sun-burnt, even in winter (because of the tiny, coppery scales), and his smile is infectious. Strangely, hebhas a large venn tattoo upon the inside of his left forearm.  His clothing is sturdy, utilitarian, and gives no indication of what his trade might be.  Weapon wise, he carries a light crossbow and
two cases of bolts, a shortsword hanging from the left of his belt, a score of blade-like darts sheathed in pockets behind his belt, a dagger in each boot, and he carries a simple,
unadorned spear that acts as a walking stick.
Whatever plane Jaster lives upon, he is not a native, though he appears as one under his draconic heritage.  His parents were from a noble family that was wiped out trying to stop a dark power from taking over their own plane.  His father saw that they had no chance against the rising power.
But, no matter where they went, they were always found by the agents of the Dark lord, and were forced to flee to another plane.  Finally, they found a place where they could successfully hide by impoverishing themselves, and through other, magical means.
Despite their self-imposed poverty, they were happy, and, eventually, Jaster was born.  This did not last long however.  At the age of five, Jaster's parent fell ill and perished.  He was left to fend for himself upon the streets of Waterdeep, and would have died as well had he not fell in with a group of young street thieves led by a minor criminal who fancied himself to be a mastermind.  Within this group, because of his small size and build, and strange  your abilities, he found himself being physically abused by both the "Father" of the group, and other members.  However, attempting to pick the pocket of a wandering paladin changed all that.
After a few years with the group of thieves, he found himself taken to a monastery in another nation, where meditation and training opened up his draconic powers.  After awhile, he decided to sojourn away from the monastery, to learn more about his powers, and his dreams.
He often had strange dreams, some good, some bad, about his parents escaping some great evil.  Sometimes in his dreams, everyone appeared as dragons.  he wants to find the source of the dreams, and more about the hidden terror within them.
