Like all Halfling, Nate is short and slight and vaguely elfin. Like all Halflings, he's pretty much always in a good mood, pretty much always up for a caper, and pretty much always excited to be involved.

But even more than most Halflings, Nate has a twinkle of mischeif and certainty in his eyes. He looks at everything with a mild intensity, like even the most banal (or dangerous!) thing is a puzzle of some sort that he needs to solve. He throws himself into whatever he does with almost suicidal gusto. Like every step is a race of some kind, and he's not sure who he's up against.

However, like all Halflings, Nate doesn't make a distinction between Birth Family and Found Family. And, like all Halflings, he's feircely loyal, and fiercely protective. Small he might be, and annoying, and mouthy, and often Too Much, but woe betide whoever messes with his friends.
