A short, spotted, Tabaxi, in slightly worn out traveling clothes and leather armor, with a metal buckler strapped to his pack and rapier sheathed on his side. Pulling up his hood when the sun is bright, he otherwise goes without covering his head.  Despite the light armor and weapon, Liyan walks like he carries a burden, shoulders hunched and eyes downcast.

His steps and movements are measured, rarely showing the sudden action tabaxi are capable of. While he might look up when there is a commotion, he doesn't like to stare. When faced with the sight of troubled or downcast, he reaches for the symbol of the moon on his necklace for comfort before approaching to help.
