Notes:

Keypads: This series of microcomputers analyzes security measures and puzzles out the best way to defeat them. By running his fingers along the surface of a vault, keypad or other security device, a skilled op can figure out how to defuse the system. Once the problem has been solved (or at least reduced), the Keypads guide the op’s hands as he puts her expertise to work.… [An agent with Lock-picking, Security or Technology can reduce his difficulty by three if he takes two to five minutes to employ the Keypads. No other roll is necessary.]

Gills Enhancement: Many sea-based operatives receive this bio-modification; a series of membranous gills filter clear oxygen from water, gas or toxin-tainted air. Thus, the agent can breathe in places that would suffocate a normal person. Although the gills are often easy to notice, most modified ops grow their hair long to cover the slits and favor loose, easily removed clothes that allow them to “breathe” without restricting the air supply too much.

Night Eyes Enhancement: A simple operation allows an agent to see in the dark as if she were a cat. Nano-tech enhancers boost incoming light, and modified receptors convey the images to the brain. Some color definition is lost in the process, but it’s better than blindness! [In game terms, this device functions without a roll, but it does not work in total darkness.]


Character’s Background:

Robert is an old saying of one being a puzzle wrapped in an enigma then placed inside a riddle. His early life before the age of 8 is completely blank, he woke up one day at the end of an ally with no memories of where he was or how he got there or even who he was, the only worldly possessions he had on him were the clothes on his back, a cross pendant necklace broken bracelet with the name Robert engraved on the inside. Robert learned early on in those days that one must do what needs done in order to survive on the streets in the city where you have no real identity so he learned how to be sneaky and steal and also to know how to fight when needed and when it was better to cut loose and run. He seemed to have a natural knack for getting into places as though luck herself were on his side, locks and doors just seemed to open up to him like they were welcoming him as an old friend. After about the second year of living on the streets Lady luck thought it would be funny to leave him alone on a fateful day and he got caught picking some suits pocket and that chance meeting would change his life forever. Eric, Roberts would be mark took a liking to this young child who had the temerity try and steal from him, he saw potential in this child, that spark of the arcane and the talent for thievery that may well be an asset to the Syndicate and if not.....well there was always places to dispose of the body.
Robert spent the next eight years in constant studies, everything he would need to fine tune his skills as a thief and infiltrator and it was during these years that he awoke to his magical side, his instructors taught him how to control and use these gifts and to not let them control him. It was also during these days that he found a new friend and life long companion in the form of a Sugar Glider of all creatures, a blue eyed trickster of a furball named Rose. Robert learned hard and fast that he needed to keep on his toes when Rose was around (which is pretty much at all times lol), she has a mischievous streak a mile long and an attitude to match and has no qualms about letting him know that she wants what she wants, when she wants it and one best listen.
After his training was complete he became an official member of the Syndicate when he turned 18 and starting working for them doing any jobs that they sent his way, now years later, him and the team he's a part of are being sent to California as part of an investigation team to see who or what is creating a reality breach......great, just great, guess I better pack some extra sun block.

These Technocracy created bullets consist of a specially reinforced firing casing and an exceptionally powerful capacitor that discharges a high-voltage blast on impact. The effect is identical to that produced by a taser, except that taser bullets are fired as ordinary bullets and have a much longer range.
