An energetic member of his species, Wix the Jawa has been operating a small shop in Mos Eisley for droid parts and electronic components for some time. Why he is here and not part of his clan on a Sandcrawler is uncertain, but he seemed to have found a way to make the best of it. He is quite the scrounger, and an even better mechanic. Trained and academic engineers would likely be repulsed by his methodologies, but the results of his DIY style can't be argued with. He has a particular affinity for interacting with and working on droids.

Like most Jawa, he has spent his whole life on his home planet of Tattooine. Never knowing anything beyond the desert, and being a nomadic species with no communication of the outside world, his knowledge of the Jedi is curious. Much of what he believes is wrong, but what he does understand still raises questions. Regardless, he has some self-trained understanding of the Force, at least enough of which to walk through walls; no small task.

He is gregarious and friendly to most. He is fast to trust and share, the results of the communal society he grew up in. Being subject to the brute force of the locals, he harbors some resentment to the Empire, First Order and any other bullies.
