Who Are You? I call myself Carmen Martinez, when I was young I was smuggled across the border by some bad people. The cost was that I would be forced to use my abilities to serve their ends. For a while I did, but it is not so easy to imprison someone who can see the future. When I ran from them I came here, a new city and a new name.

How long have you been in the city? Its been nearly two years since I came here from Los Angeles.

How do you cope with your visions? Tequila and denial, the breakfast of champions.

What are your nightmares like? Ever had that split second where your life flashes before your eyes? Imagine that a dozen times over with a dozen different peoples lives all jumbled up, whirling in the darkness like shards of a shattered pot. The bits I can remember are horrible but they aren't a patch on the parts I forget.

What do you desperately need? I am doomed to die young and die horribly. I need to change my fate by whatever means I can find.
