Gisha Deshmukh, though her friends call her Gigi, is of South Asian descent. Her family came to America from Dubai when she was three and now own a number of small bodegas in the city. She is taking online college classes and one day wants to work in the fashion industry. For now she works at the shop owned by her uncle Vihaan.

Where things got weird was over the last year. She has managed to unknowingly fall for a local vampire, and promptly got wrapped up in moving some illicit and possibly supernatural goods. Subsequently she discovered "Mr. Perfect" was not only a hardened criminal, but an undead monster among the many in the city to boot. She only managed to escape when a hunter put down her former boyfriend.

 Since this nightmare relationship she's become obsessed with lifting off the city's mask to reveal it's true supernatural face. She still wants a normal life, but what that means in a world she now knows is so much darker and stranger than what she though is anyone's guess. Most recently she's been approached by former clients of her ex, who are looking for certain objects they did not receive.
