Sir Brenton is a knight and as such abides by the codes of his order. He is polite to those above him and protective of those below him. He respects people who show him respect in return. Due to his upbringing he will step in to protect the common people even if it means going up against other knights or even nobility. His one abiding hatred is people with power using it against people without.

Background:

Brenton's family were Cottars, farmers for their lord. The land they worked was on the far northern edge of the Lord's lands and many days away from the castle. The family had just welcomed in to the world the baby that would be Brenton when the farm was raided. All were killed and it was just fortune smiling on the baby that he was overlooked and a passing patrol found the burned out farm the following day.

The baby was taken to the Lord a just and fair man, the church suggested the boy should be handed over to them to raise but the Lord placed him in the care of one of his oldest and loyalist knights and his family.

The baby was named Brenton and raised as the knight's son though when he was old enough his father told him of his beginnings so that the boy would learn that he was of the common people and he had been spared so he could grow strong and protect the weak.

Brenton is now in his 30th year and has become a knight in his own right his father and mother are both in god's embrace but he carries on his father's believe in justice for all whatever the cost might be.
