 While not quite as muscular as he was when he was in the marines he maintains a regular exercise routine to stay in shape. He also enjoys a good game of basketball when ever he can. He has been seen occasionally engaged in meditation

When on duty he give his business ware the same care he gave his marine uniforms. off duty he tends toward business casual. He outfit when working out usually includes a tee-shirt with either Marine corp logos or something written in a Obscure language.

Strengths and quirks:Karl is gifted with eidetic memory, the ability to recall things he has seen as well as other stimuli associated with those images. He has learned recreate his recalled memories using both drawing and computer graphics. He can also serve as a criminal sketch artist.

While he has learned to interact professionally with witnesses and suspects he still is occasional awkward with co-workers. despite his memory talents he will sometimes forget small details about his associate including their names.  he says he lately has been trouble sleeping and that may be part of the problem.

 Every once in a while he will notice that he will drawn something that wasn't actually there, be it a small object, writing on a wall or even a person. After a minute he will quickly realize his error and correct it.

Along with his training as a criminologist, and marine He was a working knowledge of several middle eastern languages such as Desi,Farsi,Sanskrit and Arabic. As well being fluent in Russian and Mandarin.

Background Story: Casey joined the Marines in 2003 right out of high school. After spending over a year in the middle east as a infantry rifleman. he then became a member of a Force Reconnaissance unit.In 2007 he would join the recently formed Marine Forces Special Operation Command (MARSCO)

He would stay with special ops until 2011 until he and the surviving members of his platoon would go to the Quantico Marine base to be debriefed over the series of accidents and deaths that occurred over the previous two months. Shortly after this he would receive his honorable discharge.

His experience with the FBI psychologists who helped with the debriefing inspired him to a career in law enforcement. After getting a bachelors degree in Criminology. He spent two years with the Boston PD before Joining the NYPD. during this time he went on the get his Master's degree.

He was recruited by a Federal task force to assist in an investigation of deaths  in the financial district. The investigation would lead to a terrorist cell planing a series of bombings and cyber attacks.

The investigation would culminate in a series of raids, the last which Casey would stare at one of the terrorist he just killed. He would then have an apparent nervous breakdown.

A month later he would take a well deserved ocean cruise vacation where he would turn up missing after the first night. The inquest would find no suicide note but discover a loose ships' railing. Casey Delaney's death would be ruled 'death by misadventure'.

Karl Devon is adjusting to his new circumstances. He is doing his best to develop some sort of professional bond with his new team mates, something like  he shared with police colleagues and his marine unit. as he again struggles with a new set of social rules that differ from past experiences.
