Bellamy is an ordinary raven, alike to any other bird of their kind... but for the tiny plague-mask that obscures both beak and eyes. The small thing is the constant companion of Kirana, alighting frequently on her shoulder or--more often--simply remaining nearby on some convenient perch.

They also talk, much to the chagrin of anyone who hears them.
