Class: Jester (Bard/Rogue)

Height: 5'8"

Hair Color: Dyed Blonde
Eye Color: Brown, Almost Red

Physical Description:

Most of Strophe's elvish features are hidden under his costume. A big floppy hat and a mask easily hide pointed ears and devil horns. There is rarely a moment Strophe is out of his ensemble. At court, the jester sports audacious ruffles and bright colors. On the road, his look is more subdued and practical. His face is always covered with makeup or a mascarade mask. They have a knack for costumes and disguises, with the reputation of a flamboyant dandy who likes to crossdress. Without his mask, his ruffles, or his make-up, Strophe appears to be like any other Snowladen elf: fair of skin and hair, though he dyes the latter a rich blonde. For kicks and vanity. What other reason does he need? Strophe is taller than most human men but short for his kind. His horns are small, curve up from the forehead, darker near the ends, like frosted obsidian. Strophe's features are androgynous. He looks carefully carved like an ice sculpture, the edges nicked by old wounds. The fool might be considered handsome if the rest of him wasn't attached.

Personality:

Strophe is just a silly little guy. You wouldn't hit a silly little guy, would you? Except Strophe isn't a very little guy. In fact, he looks quite imposing in his garish getup. Especially if you developed a phobia of dolls or clowns as a child. His flamboyance and friendly demeanor help him attract people easily. As an entertainer, presentation is everything to him, and he is quite good at exploiting his role to get what and where he wants. He easily unravels others with a few words. His voice is melodic - a joy to listen to - and capable of many hilarious impressions. These he exploits too, for both comedy and subterfuge. His reputation as a performer proceeds him, and he prefers to use diplomacy before resorting to messy things like mutilation or murder. He boasts himself an artist before an assassin, though he talks about his kills with the same pretentiousness. One could say his jovial yet aloof nature is a mask but Strophe won't tell what. Perhaps the silly little man has some honor after all, though he would never boast such lofty morals out loud.
