Dark and brooding, Ser Malus Mistwood is an intimidating man in his middle years, prone to threats and insults when provoked.

He stands a shade under six feet in height, but has the presence of a man twice his size. he wears greys and blacks when required to don court finery, and his armour is dark as night.

Though he has won some acclaim in the lists, he is far more renowned with the sword. He is said to have cut down a dozen westerman knights in the Westerland Vanguard, when House Blackwood rode to lift the siege of Ironhold, and the same number of assorted knights and nobles in duels in the years since.
