Height : 5'1"
Weight : 105 lbs.
Hair   : Red
Eyes   : Blue
Age    : 19

APPEARANCE
An unruly mop of red cascades down and around an impish, freckled visage. Blue eyes reminiscent of a clear, summer twilight sparkle with intelligence and mischief. Thin lips and sharp, pale features complement a short, lithe figure. Her every movement is graceful and precise with no wasted motion. While not very buxom, her slender curves nevertheless hold an innocent femininity to them that many find both appealing and intoxicating.

When she's not working, Tika usually dresses in utilitarian garments of greens, grays, and reds. She dons a starched, white apron when at work at the Inn of the Last Home, it's many pockets stuffed with cutlery, rags, and the tools of a competent barmaid. Regardless, she uses very little cosmetics, more to accentuate her natural beauty than anything, and completely disdains jewelry except for a small silver ring she wears on the middle finger of her left hand.

When she is out for a bit of adventure, she replaces the colorful dresses with rugged pants, a vest of green linen interwoven with blue and red silk, and a green, fur-lined cloak. Well oiled, studded leather armor encapsulates her slender torso and arms, while a pair of sturdy gloves protect her graceful hands. A rapier rests on her left hip, the intricate handguard a series of brass strands spiderwebbing into a protective basket. A shortbow and quiver are slung across her back and several daggers are in sheaths on various parts of her body. A pair of scuffed, leather boots, lovingly creased with use, and a battered old knapsack complete her adventurous ensemble.

PERSONALITY
Tika is the epitome of a small, red-headed woman. She's spirited, boisterous, and high strung. When faced with a challenge, she refuses to back down. Her years on the streets of Solace have made her a bit stubborn when it comes to asking for help and that has gotten her into trouble many times. Her stubborn streak, however, has been mollified somewhat by Otik's patience. Combined with learning to deal with the travelers that flow through Solace and the Inn of the Last Home, her five years of employment serving Otik's famous spiced potatoes has helped her learn to at least take a breath and think before jumping headfirst into dangerous situations.

HISTORY
Raised by her father Alleren Waylan, who was a thief and a small-time illusionist, Tika ran away from home at the age of ten. She grew up as a “tough kid” on the streets of Solace, earning her living as a pickpocket. At the age of fifteen, she tried to rob Otik Sandath, owner of the Inn of the Last Home. Touched by the innocence and the longing for love he saw beneath the teenage girl’s rough exterior, Otik saved her from going to prison by offering her a job as a waitress in the Inn.

For the last five years, Tika has watched the comings and going of travelers through the city of Solace. She was only fourteen when the Companions made their promise to travel for five years in search of answers. She still fondly remembers catching Raistlin and Anaosinn kissing in the closet. While she made sure they didn't forget it, Caramon's reaction to her childish teasing irked her. Despite this, she was a bit bummed when they left her behind.

Thankfully, the emptiness she felt at the Companions departure was replaced by a growing friendship with a local farm boy. Lake Bringaine became like an older brother to her, an anchor in the turbulence that seemed to be sweeping Ansalon. When times were slow at the Inn, she would go to the Bringaine's farm to help with the work and when that was finished, spend time with Lake. In time, their relationship grew. Truth be told, she is smitten with Lake, but for the moment, she has kept her true feelings to herself. She doesn't want to ruin their friendship.
