Moves
Been reading the files: You’ve learned about the superhuman world through your mentor’s resources. When you first encounter an important superpowered phenomenon (your call), roll + Superior. On a hit, tell the team one important detail you’ve learned from your studies. The GM will tell you what, if anything, seems different from what you remember. On a 10+, ask the GM a follow-up question; they will answer it honestly. On a miss, the situation is well outside your base of knowledge; the GM will tell you why

Be mindful of your surroundings: When you assess the situation before entering into a fight, you may ask one additional question, even on a miss.

Heroic Tradition: : When you give someone the advice that you think your mentor would give, you can roll + the Label your mentor embodies to comfort or support someone, instead of rolling + Mundane.

Backstory
How did you first meet your mentor?
Olivia was rescued from a fire- her parents were targetted by a criminal syndicate when they refused to turn over their store. While Marksman was too late to save Olive's parents, he did manage to save the girl.

When and why did you choose to train with them?
Olive decided she wanted to train with Marksman immediately. Once she realized what had happened, what had been taken from her. She began following the Marksman, hunting down the hero in an attempt to force him to help against her parent's killers.

Why did they agree to train you?
Marksman had empathy for another young orphan, and knew that her anger could either be channeled toward something good or toward something very, very bad. He decided he had no choice but to take the girl under his wing.

Who else, outside of the team, knows about your training?
Almost everyone. Bow is a well-known figure, the Protege of an important hero. She's been doing this work for a long time, and in the news for most of it.

Why do you care about the team?
Bow needs something. She's in danger of flaming out. She knows she needs a team. And honestly, being a hero is the only thing she's really ever been any good at.

When our team first came together...
We stuck together after all was said and done. Why? How’d we keep in contact?
