Bishop Klaus Fischer came to Chicago with the first wave of Germans. He is the leader of the Lancea et Sanctum in Chicago and works to keep the city firmly under control of the Catholic Church (and the Theban Sorcerers who are behind them).

Bishop Fischer is, on the surface, a man of forgiveness and gentle words. He is a shepherd, leading a flock too stupid to save themselves from the sin of the world. Chicago itself is a hotbed of corruption and chaos, where Bishop Fischer preaches to his congregations (Kine and Kindred alike) that they must fight back against these modern notions. Where there is chaos there is a new order and change. Both are reprehensible, and Fischer believes it is his solemn duty to try and keep America bound to the ways of old.
