Valerie could easily be overlooked, she's not that tall and she doesn't look threatening, but she totes a big Ballard express rifle.  She's typically dressed like she's about to go to some serious work.  She has keen, piercing dark blue eyes, a rounded nose with an narrow bridge, and her mouth has a bit of a natural pout to it.  A closer inspection reveals she is much stronger than she looks, as her arms are taut and ropey, and her grip is powerful especially for her size.

She's naturally blonde, but uses diluted coffee to color her hair darker, so depending on whether she's had a chance to do that recently her hair color might vary, and it might or might not smell like coffee.  It's hard to do out on the trail, on the other hand how often do you get to wash your hair out there?
