About Your character: Alexander King grew up in Texas, and like in many towns, football was ... well, King. Quite literally as his father had had a promising career that was cut short by an injury. He enjoyed a stable home life with loving parents who made decent livings. When he was 17, his highschool girlfriend got pregnant. He did the right thing and married her. At her urging and his parent's urging he continued his education and football and got a job after all of that while she got her GED and a job as well.

She gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. School, work, and football kept him very busy but with the support of his family and hers they were able to manage. He was offered a full-ride scholarship to Darke City. She wasn't necessarily happy about the move but she would support him and his future.

Tragedy struck when she was killed in a car accident a couple months after they moved there. Away from the support system and no longer a big fish in a small pond, all Alexander could do was his best. Even with his scholarship and job and the funds from the life insurance policy they had taken out on her, it can be a struggle to make ends meet as he considers his future and the future of his children. Especially now that he is a junior.
