Name: Zachariah Miller

Nickname: Zach, Zack, Riah, Ze. Pretty much any Z or Rah noise will draw his attention.


PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Gender: Male

Age: 22

Hair: Sandy brown hair with natural blonde highlights, usually a curly mess on top of his head.

Eyes: Hazel, with browns, blues and greens, each color standing out more so in different light.

Distinguishing Marks: He cannot see it, but he currently has two black marks just below his shoulderblades, in the shape of hands.


General Appearance: Zack isn't a very tall man, only 5 foot, 9 inches, and a thinner build. He grew up in the country, and spent most of his time throwing hay into the fields for the animals, and moving grain. He didn't bulk up like a builder, but he is able to handle 100+ pounds surprisingly well. He is on the thin side, food has been scarce lately, hence moving to a new town. Zack likes to wear simple Tees and jeans, though most have a few threadbare spots and one pair of jeans do have patches on his knees.


HISTORY
Personality: Zachariah is a rare breed as of late- a true, happy go lucky guy just enjoying the vibe of the world. The amount of people who assume he is a pot smoker and find out he isn't a fan is hilarious to the young man. He has a slight naïve innocence about him that makes his view of the world unique and exciting every day. He would prefer to shed some of that light to those around him anyway he can, holding the door, letting women by first. Maybe it was a bit of Southern upbringing popping out. Zack does have a slight twinge of a country accent once in a while.
 He is a bit of a pacifist, preferring to talk things out with people, but will not back down once it is time to fight. He is extremely slow to rage, and would rather just walk away than stay around and get angry. He grew up on a farm, and knew that hotheadedness often led to unnecessary injuries. Still, one thing that will always make Zack step in is when an animal or person is being injured for sadistic fun. He understands the use of hunting meat, so killing for sport or food he doesn't mind, but tying strings to cat tails will always make him see red.

About Your character: Up until recently, Zack lived a very normal life. His mother was a Christian, and often taught her children the good book, but only his little sister found Jesus. Still, Zack heard the messages and lived his life respecting the lessons the Good Book taught, for the most part. The one concept he could never wrap his mind around was Hell, and how a little infraction such as eating clams or loving the same sex instantly turned you into a sinner. He also didn't like how you can just ask forgiveness after knowingly hurting someone, and all was good.

  Recently, the Miller farm had hit a drought. Realizing the food was scarce and the money scarcer, he sought out the big city, hoping to find work to send money home to his family. Upon arrival, he saw something that confused him- a person standing in the road as a bus barreled towards them. Without thinking, Zack launched himself into the path of the bus, shoving the person out of the way and onto safety. The rest was a bit of a blur- he swore he heard Angels singing, and then a weird series of words, before being dragged back to earth. It seemed the world had a different plan for him.

1. What is your characters reason for coming to Darke City?
The family farm is getting harder to run, and other means of money needs to come in, or the Millers will go under, and everyone will have to move. Zack is hoping to find work to send home, and keep the farm running for generations.

2. What do you think they'll bring to the game?
A bit of light. Or a target of light. He can either bring a bit of lightness, fun, and weird innocence, or become a target for the demons to snuff him out. Either way will be fun for me!

3. What do you see as their main motivation currently? Money! If a Demon would like to team up, I kinda want to accidentally Bond, and then the Motivation would change to understanding  what the recent changes were, and see how corrupt he can go.

4. What are you looking to get out of this kind of RP? Just fun, mostly plot driven. I don't expect to be in the core story, but would be a fun support character and side story, if the storyline goes that way.
