On initial sight, "Brother" Timothy is easily dismissed as denizen of the gutter.  His clothing consists of a ratty-looking robe covered by a rattier-looking cloak.  These garments appear very dirty; it definitely appears as if one might create a tremendous dust cloud simply by patting him on the back.

His hair and beard are unkempt.  His skin is darkened by the sun which, combined with his dirty appearance, confirms this is a man who spends a lot of time outdoors.

Despite these appearances, it does not take long for one to realize this is no mere bum.  He stands tall at just over six feet, has a deep, engaging voice, is oft prone to laughter, and moves and speaks with a confidence that belies any suspicion he is a derelict.

He is often accompanied by a dog; a black and brown German Shepherd-type of dog.  A dog with big, strong teeth.
